This service includes but is not limited to, the availability and work done by our funeral director(s) and staff on behalf of the purchaser. This would include the coordination and directing the services of our staff and agents with those of the hospital, nursing home, or cemetery or crematorium in picking up the deceased from the place of death and making the necessary arrangements for final disposition. It also includes the invoices, booking staff and vehicles and other support functions.

The initial transfer of the deceased to our facility: This is a 24-hour service and includes staff, a transfer vehicle, specialized equipment.

Transfer of the deceased from our facility to the crematorium or cemetery of choice. This service includes staff, a transfer vehicle and specialized equipment.

Staff services to prepare and retain all necessary documentation; file, obtain and deliver required documents and permits, provide disbursement cheques, Canada Pension Information, a receipted account and 10 - 20 Proof of Death Certificates.

Arranging interim shelter of the deceased.

A service held at the graveside of the burial location for family and friends. Flowers and other services can be arranged.

A 1 hour visitation followed by a small service and ceremony. Families also have the option of a graveside service after the ceremony as well as a reception if necessary.

A 2 hour visitation located at the funeral chapel in the cemetery you have chosen. This may incorporate a brief formal or ritual service either in the chapel or at the graveside. Our staff can arrange for everything, including flowers and catering if a reception is required.

A 2 hour visitation followed by a full service and ceremony. Families also have the option of a graveside service after the ceremony as well as a reception if necessary. For burials, a procession to the cemetery plot would take place with the option of a brief graveside service to follow. Our staff will arrange for everything needed so your family can concentrate on being together. Please note that additional visitation time over 2 hours can be provided.

Closure is an important part of grieving and with many family and friends living across the world, being able to have final closure with a deceased loved one is becoming more difficult. We offer a service where friends and families can view the funeral of a loved one from anywhere in the world. The cost listed is an average cost and will depend on the length of service and number of people viewing the service online. Please ask our funeral directors if this is available for your service.

Being able to see a loved one before a final disposition is helpful for a sense of closure. This is not necessarily a funeral service, but an opportunity to briefly say goodbye before final disposition. Includes basic preparation and/or dressing.

Bathing, dressing and application of cosmetics if required without any chemical embalming.

Use of our service van to bring flowers to the visitation, funeral service and graveside.

The lead vehicle of a funeral procession that navigates the accompanying cars in a safe and unified manner. The clergy, if chosen, would ride in this car as well.

Additional visitation of 2 hours at any time before the service.

This usually includes fruit and vegetable crudités, tea sandwiches, light desserts, coffee and tea. Depending on what is chosen, catering is between $5-$20 per person.

Additional pallbearers to assist you in carrying the casket from the vehicle to the graveside. Please note that this is only necessary when there are not enough able friends or family to act as pallbearers.

Depending on where the death occurs, we may be required to send a second staff member to the place of death for the transfer. This is done in the case of a nursing home death or a death at home. There will also be situations beyond our control where a second staff member is required.

Depending on how you would like to honour a loved one a ceremony can be held by a priest, minister, reverend, or non-denominational celebrant at any location. Prices may vary however the average honourarium is $250.
